This is paper that doesn’t have a coating applied to it forming a smooth surface. Uncoated papers have a more tactile feel to them. Popular with designers, but not so with some printers as uncoated papers absorb the ink more making images look washed out or dull. A more earthy tactile feel is achieved so popular with eco conscious companies keen to add emphasis to their green credentials.
