PDF is the acronym for “Portable Document Format”. It’s a file format developed by Adobe Systems in the 90’s to present documents, including text formatting and images that is not dependant on the platform it is viewed. The recipient of the PDF will see exactly the same as the sender. PDF’s can contain video as well as forms and can be password protected and shared easily. PDF has come the standard for sharing information that needs to be seen exactly as it was created.
