It’s that time of year; Christmas lights are being switched on, department store windows have been transformed into Narnia-like tableaux. More importantly, there are now just a few working days left until December, when all those corporate Christmas gifts need to start arriving. So it’s time to start thinking about how to personalise your corporate gifts, and start ordering!
As well as being a means to wish someone a Happy Christmas, corporate gifts are a great opportunity to show your appreciation to your team for their hard work throughout the year and to your clients for their continued business – and we all know that a little bit of appreciation goes a long way in maintaining good relationships.
If you want your appreciation to shine through, it’s important that your gift is useful, of high quality and unique to the individual. Personalised stationery fits the bill on all three fronts – but just how can it be made unique to the individual? Here are our top three ways to personalise your corporate gifts:
1) Say their name.
As gifting expert Rosemary Platt from Not on the High Street says “every gift is more magnificent with added initials” – and we couldn’t put it better ourselves. The recipients of your corporate gifts will treasure and be proud to display a special gift that is uniquely theirs. A timeless way to personalise your corporate gifts is to monogram notebooks or diaries. Initials or a name can be debossed or foil printed for a classic look. Or how about an elegant, executive pen engraved with initials or a name? Design-led Lamy pens are suitable for engraving and make an elegant corporate gift, whether on their own or paired with a personalised notebook. Being refillable, a Lamy pen is something the recipient can keep for a lifetime, which also makes it an eco-friendly corporate gift choice.
Take a minute (well 58 seconds to be exact!) to watch our behind the scenes video showing you how we foil print initials onto a notebook:
2) Send them a unique message.
A branded notebook or diary gives you the perfect opportunity to say something more meaningful to the recipient. You can add a printed page insert as well as a custom printed belly-band, each giving you space to send a personal message. As our page inserts and belly bands are digitally printed you can have a unique, special message on each one – written to and from different people. By getting team leaders and account managers to write personal messages tailored to each team member or client being thanked, your gift looks heartfelt and relationships will be strengthened.
3) Design them a totally unique and creative gift.
Using modern UV digital print technology, you can now personalise your corporate gifts with unique designs – and produce them in small batches. You can get as creative and colourful as your imagination allows and can print photographic images too. So instead of gifts with a uniform company-wide visual, you could create unique designs for each team or department, with imagery and text relevant to their interests or projects. Likewise, with your clients; why not wow them by sending them a product with beautiful imagery relevant to their business that looks specially made for them. We offer the option of multiple designs across batches of notebooks, diaries and packaging so you can benefit from the price advantage of a large order, whilst still being able to have small batches of various designs.
So there you have it, our top three ways to personalise your corporate gifts this Christmas. You could, of course, combine the ideas and use more than one. And don’t forget the packaging too – a gift isn’t really a gift unless you can unwrap it!
